Area of the main library of the campus that is designated for students to study in groups. This area has been a benefit for many students who work better in groups than by their own. The group study area closes at 12:00am, but people who use this area always get upset when it’s time to close because they prefer to stay up all night studying in the calmness of the library rather than in their apartments by their own.

It is amazing to see how full the streets of Mayagüez are on Thursdays and how everyone enjoys in their own way, dancing, laughing, or simply having chats with friends and meeting new people.

Thursday, October 30, a group of friends celebrating the big Halloween party at Mayagüez streets. As a tradition, when Halloween is approaching, the students start to save money to spend on their costumes for this day and see which one is the most original one. Usually that day the streets are full of cars and people very early, so many students opt for choosing one apartment for everyone to get dressed and help the others prepare for the party while the pregame is on.

A bunch of assignments and material to study of different classes for the same week. Everyone in Colegio has had at least one hell week in a semester, where they have to study for three or four different classes and have to deal with separating the time to study for all of them. The situation with Mayagüez campus is that nobody knows why, but for the majority of students, hell weeks are very often during the semester, and students sometimes look like zombies walking around campus because they have to choose between having good grades, or having a good night sleep.
