Although Carla Feliciano is a dedicated scholar, her priorities are family, and taking care of them. She lost a semester in order to take care of her mother when she was very ill.

Despite this temporary setback, Carla is still focus on her academic goal. Like Albert Einstein, who she has always admired, she is very devoted to her studies, looking for ways to improve herself and always looking forward to learning new things.

At first sight Carla seem quiet, but as you get to know her better you can tell she is very cheerful, caring and a sociable person. She enjoys hanging out with her friend and family. In addition, she likes to enjoy life to the fullest. She is responsible and dedicated as a math tutor in a school at her hometown Aguadilla.

Ironically, as a little girl she often cried because she didn’t want to go to school. As she grew older she got involved in math and science clubs and she slowly began to enjoy school. Later on she got admitted to study chemical engineering at the University of Puerto Rico in Mayagüez (UPRM).

As a high-achiever in every aspect of the word, she wants to further her studies by entering graduate school. Furthermore she is looking forward to graduating, so she can devote more time to read her books.

Relationships are important to Carla but as she says, “the most exciting, challenging and significant relationship of all is the one you have with yourself.”
